GigWheels operates as two state-registered fleets. Please pick the state you'll actually drive in — our insurance and rental agreement are region-specific, and vehicles cannot cross state lines during a rental.

Please note: A Georgia-registered vehicle may only be operated in Georgia, and a California-registered vehicle may only be operated in California, at all times during the rental. Crossing state lines is a breach of the rental agreement.

Do you have your own rideshare-approved insurance, or do you need to be added to the GigWheels fleet policy as a named driver for rideshare (TNC) eligibility?*

Every GigWheels renter must carry personal auto liability + a rideshare/TNC endorsement. If you don’t have one yet, we can add you as a named driver on our commercial fleet policy so Uber/Lyft will approve you. This is NOT personal insurance for you — it only satisfies the rideshare platform’s requirement that drivers appear on a commercial policy. You are still responsible for any damage to the vehicle and for personal use.
